Some of the Catholic blogs I have read lately that deal with the vaccination issue have driven me to a frothing, incoherent rage. To me, this seems like an absolute no-brainer.

Perhaps that's the problem?

Also, what the fuck is up with "certain vaccines for children that were made using aborted babies (ugh!)." Because stem cells can only come from abortions.

Hey, if people want to make other arguments, no problem (Debate is good), as long as they're not thinly-veiled justifications for pushing a "moral agenda." What I object to is the stated reasoning of certain religious groups that this vaccine would encourage teen sex.
