i've never seen friday night lights. I probably won't watch it now, but i think it is underadvertised. because i -never- see commercials for it. i don't know why they do that to shows. hasn't it been on for a while too? and it gets good reviews.

as for that dude, he is hot. he was one of hte first adults i found attractive (i never got into brad pitt and all that junk) when he was on Homefront.

Me liking a show is the kiss of death so I'll do you a favor and stay as far away from this show as possible. You're welcome.

If you don't watch this show I'll like kiss you on the mouth or yoke you or something.

It's kind of already jumped the shark.

What is with the Monk bashing? I like that show.

Still, the reason why garbage thrives and quality TV almost always fails is best summed up by a feature on the Police Squad DVD set. In it they say that most people don't actually watch TV, they just have it on while they are doing other things, so the less involved they have to be in a show the better they like it.

Movies on the other hand, especially when seen in a theater, demand more of a commitment and that is how The Naked Gun movies were highly successful even though most of the jokes came from a show that supposedly no one liked.
