i am currently sitting in the waiting room of the division of labor standards enforcement of the los angeles court system. a former employer of mine owes me money and i intend to get it, plus interest.

i just had a thought that was mildly comforting. i've been thinking about becoming a musician or making jewelry for a living. but doing those things would mean starting at the bottom.

my problem is that i have an inclination towards several disciplines, and i know that i have talent/potential talent in all of them. how the fuck am i supposed to pick just one? living in la, and working at tj's, i'm surrounded by every sort of creative. i could easily get help and advice in any passion i pursue. how do i pick just one? how do ( Read more... ) -

argh argh argh! i feel like i'm at a crossroads. i'm partially employed. i'm working at tj's full time and it's going really well, but i don't make enough to pay my bills and it's obviously a grocery store.
it looks like i'm going to get unemployment, which would allow me to work this super awesome schedule and even make a little bit extra. ( Read more... )
