I thought about this as I climbed out of my sporty, white, temporary Jetta-replacement wearing a pink sweater-set and lime green corduroys, placed my 2 pound chihuahua on the examining table, reached across to shake the veterinarian's hand and said, "Hi, I'm Summer".

Yesterday, I walked into a very clean glass wall. Due to some ethereal, smoke-like haze, I think I was able to anticipate a solid object in front of me about a quarter of a second before the collision, therefore rendering minimal impact. I now believe this haze to be my reflection. 

Yesterday was a big day. I acted as a crime fighter by reporting a hit and run on 94. 
I also started a pretty major fire.
No one was harmed in either of these exciting and unrelated events.

The name I am most frequently called besides my real name? Heather. I believe it has something to do with the "er" ending along with the two syllables. Within four or five days of my United States departure, it was gone. Never bothered me once for four weeks. Within six days of my return to the states, it's back.

My decade long suspicion is true. I am allergic to America.

This could get expensive.

Today I received an email from a sister I've known for seven or eight years. We went to pioneer school together and spent many hours in service mostly consisting of me in the back seat shivering in the middle of February as we drove fifty miles an hour with her driver's side window down in an attempt to extinguish her hot flashes.
