I wanted this to be an IC action post, but I really doubt I'll have the energy later on. So. THESE WERE LIES, I did okay after all, so feel free. Assume each gift was placed either on the right doorstep or underneath the tree in #119, without any real personal greetings except for his and the recipient's name neatly scrawled out on a tag.

[Have an early-morning Lockon emerging from his room, looking fresh and well-rested where anyone else can see him even if he did only get a few hours of sleep last night. Oh, and he's carrying a stack of colorfully-wrapped presents in his arms.]

[He's over sorting out his own boxes, abruptly standing at attention when Lockon approaches and holding out two of them as if he rehearsed all this.]

[Carefully, Lockon sets the boxes down, arranging them a bit carelessly into the appropriate piles. Then he gets back up, holding two of them.]

It looks like we've got to switch!

[And he hands over the presents to Tieria while taking the ones he's holding out.]

It's not an issue. I did have other things to attend to.

[And of course he would have waited, either way. Taking his and unwrapping them with a precision that was lacking last year, he stares at the pajamas and the DVD-- less practical than the gift given before, only now he doesn't even give it a thought--slowly letting a smile creep onto his face before he watches intently for Lockon's reaction.]

She does get it. She gets it alright. And it's pretty. And sea-like. And whoo~ 'pets' she doesn't need to feed. This makes that cardigan she got Tieria seem lame as hell, tho. XD;;;

AT LEAST SOMEONE DOES-- he loves practical gifts like the cardigan; it was probably the best present she could give him. He just finally realizes there are some people who don't have the same opinion. |D
