I used to have one, but I have no idea what happened to it.

EGADS. It's been days since I posted or read anyone's posts or even seemingly had a moment to myself. (sigh ( Read more... )

For me, the worst part of Benign Positional Vertigo was feeling the room spinning while lying in bed. The exercises do work, fortunately.

Are there any Little Free Libraries near you? That's a good way to get rid of a few books at a time.

There aren't, which is frustrating, because I would happily put books in one.

I'm glad to know the exercises work. I agree that the spinning room is annoying, but bumping in the wall walking down the hall at work is embarrassing. I seriously thought at one point last week that someone would report me for being drunk on the job, and I'd have to prove I wasn't. (sigh)

Thanks! That's good to know. The PT place is actually within walking distance from work so I was going to walk there and then walk back to work. We'll see how it goes.

This time of year most people are super busy. Remember to breathe :-)

I do not know how this happened. It's like I think I should have time, but somehow I don't. ARGH.

Oops, also, I have the crystal thing, too. I know there are exercises you can do, but I forget to do them. I don't bump into walls a lot, but it does happen. If I look up I can literally fall over.

ARGH. I don't fall over. I just can't walk straight and the ceiling spins if I lie down. It's damned annoying!

Good grief:(

I have a casual RL acquaintance who currently has the same vertigo problem that you have. She's having the physical therapy for it. I hope the therapy helps you.

I'm glad that at long last you have a roof, as you said it's been many, many months since you told us about the tree falling on your house:(((
At least a roof is a start!

And I need to get rid of books

Once I embraced ebooks I got rid off the vast majority of my books. Apart from about 10 books that I'm emotionally attached to, the only books that I keep now are cookbooks.

sending you peaceful, calming vibes

Thank you for the peaceful, calming vibes.

I'm really glad to hear from so many people that the PT works. I hope it will work for me.

And yes, a roof. It's amazing. Four and a half months without that room and with a tarp over the roof. It's really nice that we can see the end of it all coming!
