Nobody? It's violent? I'm going to watch it right now. Yes I'm just catching up NOW with friends entries! Well thank the stars there is a roof there now. It's great you guys have a wonderful relationship with your longtime landlord.
I watched documentaries lately on Prime called Killing Ground and one on the fire homeless issues in big pricey cities. The thing that always kills me watching these is...the most vulnerable, marginalized people in our society who need the most protection and care are just forgotten.
I hope you enjoyed the movie half as much as Pat and I did. We loved it.
Sometimes it seems to me an entire generation was raised with affluence and no conscience. Cops are told to protect the ones with money, and everyone else has to fend for themselves. It breaks my heart when someone chooses to take advantage of the elderly or the homeless.
I've seen some great movies lately on Netflix that are pretty dark, but I often like the realistic types of movie rather than happy ending stuff. The Power of the Dog was a good one, and one I enjoyed that was dark was Coming Home in the Dark, a New Zealand movie.
It just makes me angry when I see injustice, period, you know? I'm kind of a hypocrite maybe, because I actually do come from a privileged background, but I also know I've been in places, situations and certainly prison and understood that you know, I have it made good, and I want to be able to pass that along to humanity. It's why I really feel for the homeless and disenfranchised. That shit can happen to ANYONE. Even those from good families can find themselves on the streets,
Bummer on losing a nice colleague. It's always the good ones who go, isn't it? I hope she enjoys her new career.
And good luck with the vertigo and fingers very tightly crossed that the exercises work. They did for me and I've not had a recurrence in about two years now, so thank goodness for that!
Excellent news on the roof going on. It won't be long now until everything at home is back to normal. Won't that be a relief! Yep, definitely a good Christmas gift for the two of you.

I hope PT works in relieving vertigo symptoms! One of my aunts also had this issue and she find it hugely beneficial.

And thank you for the good wishes about the vertigo. It's annoying as hell.
