Yesterday at work went well. I got a lot done, and I also donated platelets. That went well. I've been reading a truly awful book on my Kindle. It had a lot of recommendations which is why I bought it in the first place. The

I get really annoyed if I've paid for a book which turns out to be badly written and/or be full of grammatical mistakes. It's bad enough if the book was free, but I kind of expect free e-books to not be very good.

Free books are often offered to try to help build an audience for a new writer. But this guy has a series. I just looked him up and he produced like two to three books a year. That explains the quality. (grin)

Yikes, that is super cold for you! I hope that cold snap doesn't last very long. All that rock climbing ought to help keep you warm.

Isn't it wonderful when you have a good week at work and get so much accomplished? I know next week will be chaos again, but it's so nice to have at least one week where things went well.

One of the reasons I generally prefer paper to e-books is the editing is usually far superior. Not always, of course.

Today during the day turned out to be surprisingly warm. It's supposed to drop into the 30s tonight, so we'll see what happens. And I do hope it's short-lived.

It was a good week for getting work done. It's probably going to go to hell next week again, but yeah, a good week is really nice.

Editing mistakes in books really take away my enjoyment, too. I hate to be a snob, but seriously, this should not happen.
