I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the Dean's list. Specifically, are you put on the list based on your cumulative GPA or is it done by your grades each semester? If it is, does anyone know what the lowest grade you can get and still be on the list is? Right now my GPA is a 3.820 but I got a B in one of my courses and I'm hoping it won't

Dean's list is based on semester grades. I believe you must earn a 3.45 in a given semester, but don't quote me on that. You should be fine with one B. :)

(I'm a big dork too and graduated with an-almost 3.9 cumulative. Occasionally, I had a B or an A- during a semester and I was on the Dean's list for every one regardless).

Thanks so much! I had a B+ last semester and didn't think I'd be on the list but I was so I was sitting here like, "Hmm..I guess a B+ is the cut-off point?"

Yeah--my first semester, when I was a bum, I had two A minuses and a B and was still on the deans list. Like I said, it's done by semester GPA rather than individual course letter grade, and the qualifying GPA comes out to a B average sooo...you should be good. :)

that should def put you on Deans list, you don't need all As for Deans list, your able to have Bs and still get on the list.

yes i got one B+ last semester but was still on dean's list. my gpa was the same, so you'll be on the list.
