Hahaha. This is EXACTLY how I think they would be as a married couple and as parents--still sparring with, and trying to outwit and outmaneuver each other. And how much do I love that Britta has adopted a Shirley voice as a mothering tool? Even more than I love that Jeff negotiates with his 5-year old.

Thanks so much! I was struggling a bit with the end of the fic when I realized that Jeff and Britta are just the sort of people to use their children against one another in an argument--not a big, damaging one, obviously. But petty revenge? Yes, please! I also think that Britta would take a lot of her cues on being a parent from Shirley, and Jeff could never get over his lawyer-ness, even if he didn't go back into the profession.

I'm so glad you enjoyed! :D I thought that Jeff would definitely turn his kids into mini-lawyers, so I'm glad you liked that.

And Lindsey was just a name that I thought Britta would name her son, but Cordelia was definitely named with Cordelia chase in mind. :)
