I figured it all out. It hit me like a brick wall glued on to the front of a freight train Monday evening but I finally figured it out- why she acted like that, why she needed me, why she doesn't want me, why the phone was silent that night, but not the other. It's so fucking fantastic I laugh to myself sometimes
