My job is slowly killing me.
I work as a massage therapist. I'm training via apprenticeship to be a licensed esthetician (waxes, facials, anything to do with skin) which means they schedule certain services for me to do and I do them without getting paid because it goes toward my apprenticeship hours. It's about 11 more hours til I can take my first shot of Bacardi 151 (in public). I cannot tell you how incredibly excited I am at this moment. It's kind of funny though, because a great deal of my friends have been telling me how they think of me as a 23 year old or at least old enough to drink already. I do feel older than I am. EMPLOYMENT!!!
Yay! Yippee skippy!!! I can't tell you how incredibly happy I am to have a job, finally, and how happy I will be to get that first paycheck! I'm working at Ambiance Salon and Day spa here in the Mount, so if you're in the area definitely stop by and book me for a half hour massage. ;) Who knows, maybe this is my calling. Time will tell.
