i put up a huge flickr update, maybe 100+ photos, and mapped all of them (more or less). anyways, flickr maps is pretty cool and you should definetly check it out. takes a lot of effort to tag the photos and everything, but i was bored at work. i put up photos from here in the city, london, seattle/yakima, trips to ithaca, canada, and hawaii.

alice left for texas this weekend so it was a big send-off from wednesday until saturday. it's sad not to have her around anymore. and i think it signals the coming exodus from nyc by everyone. i think a lot of people are starting to get tired of the city. not forever, just for now. time to try something new. nyc will always be here when we come ( Read more... )

i started volunteering for stoked mentoring in nyc. it's a surf/snow/skate based mentoring program in nyc and la that pairs at-risk high school kids with mentors and teaches them about community through boardsports. i'm helping out the skate program teaching the mentors and mentees how to skate. went to my first mentoring session this last saturday ( Read more... )
