It just goes to show you... We are the only two beings in this universe. And all else is just filler to keep the audience entertained until the main attraction.
We are destined, you and I, paths intertwined. Two mad men; one who has already fallen into the depths, and one who teeters on the edge of control and disorder. It's a slippery path you walk. And one that, once you cross that path, fall to the wayside, you'll never make your way back up again.

How many people have I killed, would you say? Now, I've not been at this quite so long as you've been looming in the darkness with your gadgets, your vehicles, your elaborate game of cops and robbers. And yet, even in my somewhat short tenure as the chaos to your "order," I've amassed quite the body count.
And it has grown without hindrance from your attempts.
When I wound up here in this cozy little City, why, I had no idea what to do with myself! Sure, I had my brief moments with that blonde bimbo, now quite thankfully out of the picture entirely, and a few rousing gags that gave much of the city such a ghastly chuckle and guffaw or three, but none of it quite did the trick without an able-minded adversary.

Whenever I knew you were going to come and stop me, I always made sure to go out with a bang. Explosions, gunshots, murder, mayhem, the whole nine yards! And I always came right back, no matter how I met my supposed end, no matter which flawed institution they threw me in.
It's a game, Batman!!
