- It takes one week to learn a spell, and you have to start with the first level and work your way up. For example: Jeff wants to learn Flare. He goes to Yen Sid, and studies one week to learn Fire, a second week to learn Fira, a third week to learn Firaga, and a final week to learn Flare. You will also have to a wait about a week to start learning the next spell.
- The rate that spells are learned can be accelerated with special training, but this is very dangerous, and therefore the magic teachers shouldn't offer it unless there are extreme circumstances (such as having to rescue Sora in a week). Furthermore, Magic teachers, make sure the training is VERY difficult, to reflect the danger involved in gaining power so fast.
- Most teachers, while they may be willing to take on small groups of students, prefer to have only one at a time. When in groups, however, their attention must be shared among the disciples, so it will take longer to learn the spell(s).
- Also, note that on Earth, magic is severely weakened, meaning only the first level of any spell (Fire, Blizzard, etc.) will work.
Magic Trees are as follows:
Aero - Aerora - Aeroga - Whirlwind
Blizzard - Blizzara - Blizzaga - Comet
Bubble - Bubblera - Bubblaga**
Cure - Cura - Curaga - Holy or Life
Dark - Darkra - Darkga - Doomsday*
Esuna - Esunaga**
Fire - Fira - Firaga - Flare
Gravity - Gravira - Graviga - Singularity
Haste - Hastera - Hastega
Magnet - Magnara - Magnega - Resonance
Poison - Poisonra - Poisonga - Toxify**
Quake - Quakra - Quaga - Tremor
Reflect - Reflera - Reflega - Mirror
Scan***
Sleep - Sleepga
Slow - Slowra - Slowga
Stop - Stopra - Stopga - Tesseract
Thunder - Thudara - Thundaga - Ultima
Water - Watera - Watega - Tsunami
* A clarification on Darkness. The Darkness is not some wonderful, misunderstood kind of magic. It will twist you, it will devour you, and it is NOT A TOY. This goes for everyone and any Heartless as well. They are not friendly, happy, hungry little monster-puppies. From this point on, if you fuck with the Darkness, the Darkness will fuck back without lube or preparation, and it won’t respect you in the morning. Instead, it will take you down. This will be mod-enforced from this point on, no exceptions. You are also not allowed to have a touching, dramatic death in which you sacrifice yourself and become a Nobody. This is over and done with, no exceptions.
** Talk the mods about these spells before learning them. You must get mod approval before learning ANYTHING not in Kingdom Hearts. No exceptions. If you have a question about if the magic is or isn’t in KH, ASK A MOD.
*** Scan has a special way of working here in WR. It doesn't work like it does in the games, where it shows how much HP an enemy has. No, this spell manifests as a colored aura around the enemy that only the caster can see. The colors in that aura represent the target's weaknesses.
Special Note: Fourth tier magic is very powerful, and therefore requires some specialization on your part. This means that you can only learn one at first, and two only after a long while. In addition, as it is the most difficult spell available for that tier, it will take about two weeks to learn.

Status: Free.
Mun: Brandon.
Location: Yen Sid's Tower.
Notes: Yen Sid is a graduate of the School of Learning Through Intense Manual Labor. Expect to haul buckets full of water up and down stairs for a few days/weeks before he'll teach you anything. Also, don't touch his hat. - Queen Minnie.
Magic: Cure Tree, Reflect Tree.
Status: Free.
Mun: Emmy.
Location: Disney Castle.

Magic: Aero Tree, Blizzard Tree, Cure Tree, Fire Tree, Haste Tree, Magnet Tree, Poison Tree, Quake Tree, Scan Tree, Sleep Tree, Slow Tree, Stop Tree, Thunder Tree.
Status: Free.
Mun: No one plays her, so her student will have to NPC her.
Location: Beast's Castle.
Notes: Remember the Enchantress from Beauty and the Beast? Yeah. Lady d'Hiver has a crazy sense of justice, so just make sure you don't make her mad. Or else you could end up cursed. She also makes you do lots and lots of chores. She is currently unavailable as Beast's Castle has been destroyed. - Aerith.
Magic: Cure Tree, Esuna Tree, Reflect Tree, Life.
Status: Free.
Mun: Ray.
Location: Radiant Garden.
Notes: Aerith teaches between caring for the sick and rebuilding Hollow Bastion. - Merlin.
Magic: Aero Tree, Blizzard Tree, Bubble Tree, Cure Tree, Fire Tree, Gravity Tree, Quake Tree, Sleep Tree, Thunder Tree.

Magic: Aero Tree, Blizzard Tree, Fire Tree, Poison Tree, Quake Tree, Thunder Tree.
Status: Free
Mun: No one plays him, so it will be up to the student to NPC him.
Location: Wonderland.
Notes: Notorious for his horrifically hard tests and cruel training methods, the Cat is a good teacher with insanely awful methods. He also makes you wear a uniform. His world was destroyed, but if you can find him, he might teach you. - Riku.
Magic: Dark Tree.
Status: Free.
Mun: Rox.
Location: Unknown. He moves a lot. Check wherever Sora is.
Notes: Riku is very picky about his students. It’ll take some convincing to get him to teach you. - Howl.
Magic: Aero Tree, Blizzard Tree, Fire Tree, Gravity Tree, Haste Tree, Magnet Tree, Quake Tree, Scan Tree, Sleep Tree, Slow Tree, Stop Tree, Thunder Tree.
Status: Free.
Mun: No one plays him, so it will be up to the student to NPC him.
Location: Ingary.
Notes: Howl is a fop. A vain, conceited, selfish fop. For one, he won't even teach you if Calcifer doesn't like you. For two, he might ignore you the first few days you're chilling in his castle. If and then he DOES notice you, his teaching is hard to follow and often quite convoluted. In short, Howl is a dick, and if you're willing to put up with him, more power to you. - Some of the more advanced refugees have amassed enough knowledge to teach basic level spells only. In order to do this, the desired instructor must have learned the fourth level of the spell they are teaching. Please note if you train with another Ref, your spells will take longer and more work to perfect, and will be a bit less powerful until you do, seeing as none of us have the experience of the full magic instructors.
Magic Application
For the sake of organization, you must apply to learn magic. This is primarily to keep track of which magic teachers have students.
How old you are: (you must be at least 16)
Who your teacher is & if it is approved by them: (it must be cleared by them first.)
How long you have/will train: (a minimum of a week for learning a new spell)
Spell you're learning: (Thunder, Stopra, Blizzaga, Flare, whatever it is)
The dates: (basically, I’m starting to learn Blizzard on October 3rd and will be fairly proficient on October 10th)
