Ooooohh LJ, you poor neglected thing! I'm sorry, I've gotten out of the habit of updating!

So, summery of the summer:
-Beach with my father & the Taylor-Mcans, which was uneventful
-MICA, which was SO AWSOME
-New York, with Paoli, also AWSOME
-Beach, again, with my father and cousins. This cemented my Project Runway addiction.

I'm off to New York! I'll be in the city from Friday afternoon to Monday morning, so if anyone wants to meet for lunch/dinner/cof fee, that'd be awsome so call my cell (1 7 1 7 2 8 3 7 1 5 2) and we'll make plans!

Also, afterwards, I'm going to the beach for a few days and then I have Wharton, in case anyone wanted to know...

So, this is my last beach day. There was some wonderful water today (made better by a cute red-headed surfer and his slightly less good looking blonde friend... ^_~;) and so I swam a lot and sat on the beach with a good book as well, resulting in me getting a sunburn, the first and last of the week.  It's my normal spazzy sunburn too, all eraticly ( Read more... )

At the beach!  We drove down on Sat (I pulled into the house, people freaked, it was fun) and we've been having a good time.  The ocean's not too cold, although I haven't been in today, and the house is nice.  I have my own room with two bunkbeds, which is interesting, and I stole a sterio from the upstairs so I have that.  Some of the other rooms ( Read more... )

I've just read the past two chapters of Nana from Shojo Beat and wow, it's really turning into a shojo-ai type story!  I mean, there've been some hints throughout the story but the subtext is totaly, totaly not even subtext anymore. When I started reading Nana, it was one of the manga I bought for the pictures.  The story line wasn't bad, I enjoyed ( Read more... )
