Yep that didn't work on Chrome.

I hate ads on Plus accts =/ I feel like I'm on a download site or smth. Gonna try looking for a layout where the ads don't look that intrusive. Not holding my breath...

Right now it's Minimalist Bloggish. Better than Powell Street but it still cuts up the board =/
Need a non-Bloggish layout.

ETA: Mobile Theme Tranquility II. Font size is unacceptably TINY.

ETA2: Cardboard Minimalism. It's...okay for a definition of 'okay.' I'm switching back to Basic account (and Powell Street layout) until I can figure this out. At this rate this comm. would probably look like all the kink meme LJ comm.s out there. Dunno if I can do a CSS thing when not on a paid account though.

I'm kinda sad that now so many LJs look the same, but functionality > having the same layout.

Having the boxes not look like boxes is weird *squints*, but at least now the board isn't cut off, there's only one ad at the very bottom (as opposed to on THREE SIDES), and the font size is readable.

I guess writing_game will look like this for the foreseeable future.

Oh, wonderful! It even seem to work in my old browser! Thank you for taking the time to do this!

And about the writinggame account, feel free to change it back to the original layout, Cardboard Minimalism doesn't even work that fine for me. I've just been foolish enough to play with layouts without making note of the original one.
