Excellent. I like how you have Mal coming to accept River slowly... a complete acceptence right away would never work... this is perfect.

And I love the Greek tragedies references! :) After having studyed the dead language from hell for 4 years in High School, I still find the myths interesting. :)

And I got my dvd's of the TV show in the mail yesterday so hopefully soon I will get time to watch all the eps!!

Wonderful. I love this slow evolution [though I think I missed a few of these, will have to go back and read], and it makes their evolving relationship more feasible. The image of her as a cracked diamond suites her well, really emphasizes how precious he thinks she is. Nice.
