Mom, five years later
November 11, 2014 was the last day of my mother's life. She would die in her sleep that night and I discovered her in the evening of November 12. I had yesterday evening free so I embarked on a job that occupies many of my evenings during the approach to Christmas. Mom, four years later
I have kept my mother's tradition of baking shortbread cookies at Christmas. This year I started baking on November 4, knowing full well how many tins I have to fill in order to cover everyone on the expanding cookie list. Mom, three years later
Unlike last year and two years ago, I decided not to go to my mother's condo on the anniversary of her death. I return to Tristan da Cunha

New LiveJournal blog
Once again I have exceeded my space limit at LiveJournal. I am amazed that it has lasted up until now, as for the past several months I had been creeping ever so close to the 100% capacity mark.
