Solo Camping
I've started watching Yuru Camp (Laid Back Camp, according to Crunchyroll) and realized something:
I've never been solo camping.

A confuzzling day
So, it is kind of freeing. I'm out of the army, leaving Kansas and the house I'm buying, selling off toys I've treasured for a long time for pennies on the dollar so I don't have to ship them, and generally making bad financial choices ( Read more... ) -
Back in Louisiana
So, I'm in Louisiana, which is nice, on Ft Polk, which is kinda blah (although I did see a herd of goats mowing the brush, which was neat), on railhead detail, which kinda sucks.
Oh, and remember, if you're ever lost here, the solar panels face south.

Hmm (or, it's been almost a year?!?)
The RD is still in pieces -- I need to fix the rear stop/turn lights (there's a short somewhere (probably the light housing itself)), decide if I'm going to weld on the tank or just put it back on, then put gas in it and see if she'll kick over. Sunday I tuned a motorcycle into a pile of parts.
Tso, my apartment complex put a sign on my RD350 Thursday -- "This thing is part of abolishment program on 19 September 2012."
I, even though I hadn't moved the poor dear since I got to Korea, do not want her abolished.
