Haven't been around anyone much lately. Probably because I've had my mind on world events and Christopher. Just think it'd be kind of better if I focus on him and not anyone else that may be wandering around...

I've been up all morning, making plans for tomorrow. Had to make sure Mama and Lourdes could get a rental to get home from the airport, since they're flying in this afternoon instead of tomorrow. Suddenly tomorrow is looking a lot better.

Perhaps the reason Chris seems so preoccupied lately has something to do with whatever he may be planning for my birthday. I've kept myself busy by doing a lot of cleaning up, especially since my mother is likely to go snooping through the house. Lourdes, I hope, will be able to keep her from going too crazy. I have to say, Africa wasn't as bad as I thought that it would be. I mean, yes.. there were the obvious preoccupations with Chris and the distance and the subtle way he avoids talking to me so much these days. Not that he's avoiding it, really.
