I've been out.
Swimming & watching movies & shopping & listening to music & going out with friends & snuggling the New Boy. That's been keeping me pretty busy.
Also, I've been getting the BSOMFD. I've consulted several sources & we've come to the conclusion I need more RAM & ( Read more... ) -
Fitness Goals
I am doing better with controlling my eating/snacking so far this year.
I said I was going to start swimming on Saturday mornings. I found out the details, but spent this past Saturday morning throwing up & sleeping. Oh well, at least it's a good ab workout...?

Columbus!?
I will be heading down to Columbus this weekend. Alone. As stated before, this will entail multiple safety/beverage/get-out-&-walk-around-&-wake-up stops.
Possible field trip to Outlands Saturday night.

Why I don't plan to participate in the 2010 Portage Lakes Polar Bear Jump
I found out the charity is going to be the American Cancer Society.
Last time, the event raised about $23,000 and donated it to the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. The foodbank says it can provide 7 meals with every $1 it receives. That's a lot of meals. That's a big, local, impact. I raised & donated $160 myself. Even that is a big, local, ( Read more... ) -
New Year. New Goals...?
I'm tired of not losing any more weight. Not only have I not made the goal I set for myself to reach by the end of the year, but my size 16 jeans are feeling snuggish. This is unacceptable. I have pretty much stopped weighing myself and I'm OK with that. The number doesn't mean that much. I'd like to be a size 14. That's my next goal.

Last week, I burned myself in a freak accident that involved very hot soup and a blender. At 4am. I know it's ridiculous. Shush now. Stop saying words. I've done this with soup 1000 times before, and it never exploded on me...
