Changes, ugh
Well, here comes another Thanksgiving. Historically my favorite holiday. I love what it represents, being thankful for what is, the gathering of family/friends or welcome strangers. Greetings LJ people, I have obviously been absent for some time. Trust me, it's not because things have been sunny and carefree.

Colorado visit
Im in lovely colorado visiting children and grandchildren. The weather is crazy warm! Been to dinners, homecoming parades and the football game...one grandson's soccer game, out with the girls for a late night (still paying for that), went to the skatepark, played some Uno. Whew, I still have 3 days left! -
no elk in the freezer...
Tom and Dave made it home from Southern Colorado today. Unfortuntely, they were empty-handed so no elk meat in the freezer this year ( Read more... ) -

I've been meaning to get on here for weeks, ok MONTHS. oy. The mister is off with his brother back to Southern Colorado on his "final elk hunt".
