Not Enough Sleep...

Mar 21, 2005 10:11

...was the theme of the weekend. I just don't see the appeal of midnight sushi. I don't like sushi and I especially don't like midnight. And four in the morning is a blasphemous time to be going to sleep! But it all worked out ok. I need another weekend to recover from this past one. Work is actually sort of relaxing today.

she's right, you know. I also refuse to play Jazer anywhere else. It wouldn't be Jazer anymore, he was raised from level 1 on YOUR GAME. Great game. The end. You got my email.

Scrap this system and you die.

You kiddin'? Most of the awesome stories we talk about with other dnd folks starts with "Well, first understand, this isn't exactly Dungeons and Dragons, its our friend's personal d20 system..." Had it not been for those wacky events and powerful characters I don't think I would have stuck with RPGs as long. The DnD world consists of a lot of high lvl NPCs and real life authors controlling what happens, your world allowed us to be the ones doing the controlling and thats why I enjoyed it.

your game is great and different. i know a lot of 2.5, so its hard to surprise me with stuff. then i see stuff that i would never have thought of in my wildest dreams. keep the old characters. xook is on leave, he isnt retired. your game is fantastic. youre the best DM ive ever seen and you should appreciate the system you singlehandedly made. a change should be nice to see the exact green-ness of the other side. keep up the great stuff. i think more time in an existing system should leave you with more time to do the fun things in a game, like trick and challenge and kill us.
