Ugh. I took Thera-Flu yesterday. Correction. I took NON-DROWSY Thera-Flu yesterday. It took about half an hour or less before it knocked me unconscious for about two hours. Even now, if I don't concentrate, by head gets fuzzy again. Man, I wish I had gotten sick a week from now, not now.

yeah, well, I shaved most of that off before heading in to school, but I probably have a heavy five o'clock shadow of fuzziness by now...

yeah, but I went home sick last Tuesday (which is why I wasn't videotaping your class that night), so we'll see how long it lingers.

Try taking the individual medicines for each specific symptom, rather than the combination stuff. Combination stuff tends to have things you don't want or need - oftentimes combos will include an antihistimine, which is usually the culprit as far as drowsiness. I would say that I've had pretty good luck doing this, but my metabolism is so fast that I almost never get drowsiness side effects from meds, OTC or prescription.
