I'll probably end being the crazy guy with dogs. Hopefully it'll just be like oh look it's Mr Thompson, he sure does love dogs ... weeeelll at least he's a good English teacher.
Really though all that jazz drives me nuts. I know it might seem like I shouldn't talk given the length of certain relationships but seriously 90% of the time things that are supposed to be comforting are just annoying as all hell.
All in all I'd have to agree with you all over the place on that, but who the heck thinks you being a virgin is creepy? Definitely don't get that, pretty does not = not a virgin. some people, I swear.
On an arguably unrelated note you and I have been friends for many years madam cerda and we seldom ever talk, and I find you are a keen individual. In regards to that if you ever find yourself not in the mood to hang out chicks (though I can't imagine why) feel free to hit me up for some free lunch or something.

HEY. I did online dating and it's actually not looking to be so horrible.

My advice with online dating is to weed through the majority of boys who are just trying to just get naked with you. Guys ARE out there (I don't remember if that phrase was one of your rules are not, haha) but unless you have exhausted all resources I don't think you can give up and be Crazy Lady With Cats just yet. =)

I like gk2gk.com and plentyoffish.com. pof has a lot more guys looking for just sex, but there are some men on that site looking for more too.

And seriously? Fuck that guy who said being a virgin is creepy! Just because he is probably willing to stick his genitals into any warm and wet orfice doesn't mean you should be willing to provide yours for him. Grr. Sometimes, I hate men.

I'm not opposed to online dating in general, but I feel that I need to meet people in person too, since I am still somewhat lacking in social skills.

I'm not one to believe in fate or soul mates or anything like that. I absolutely hate the phrase "If it's meant to be..." because that implies that your life has already been planned for you and you have no say in it... like it's just a pre-made jigsaw puzzle and your only job is to put the pieces together correctly. That idea makes some people feel better, but I can't deal with it
