but I thought it looked kind of fun and I really need something to do so...

heh, that reminds me of friday, when heffernan showed us a taped episode of oprah. they did a special on "challenge day" at monroe high school, where the students got into groups and did the "if you knew me..." where they'd talk about things that are/were bothering them, problems they have in life, etc. they also did the "cross the line" exercise, where you'd cross a certain line if you've been hurt by something someone said, or what someone has done, or been teased, or whatever. it was really cool. then at the end, people started to get up and make speeches and apologizing for things they've said/done that might've hurt someone, and saying they'd change and stuff. and they really did.

too bad if we tried that at athens, people would just go back to the way things were. which is really kinda disappointing. but i guess thats just how things work.
