okay, apparently my obliviousness strikes again, and possibly at the worst possible moment.
aaaand if it wasn't for my bestfriend's call (mom left a huge note reminding me to give her a call, and of course I forgot), I would have completely missed my (first ever) prom.
cue a gazillion facepalms.

okay, when I woke up today, I more or less noticed two things.
