Another great and moving chapter with a genuine chuckle at the babys' initials.

Thank you. I thought it was better to end on a lighter note considering how heavy the rest of the chapter was. Glad you liked it.

Ugh Annies' mum though.. Would her parents actually be allowed to prevent Jeff from seeing her though? Its more the mum though you can tell the dad goes along with it for a quiet life. Never liked any Rosemarys i've met so the name works perfectly for her, no offense to any Rosemarys who read this comment.

In all honesty I don't know, but considering he isn't next of kin my guess is they would.

And for the record, I've never met any Rosemary's I liked either so ditto!

First of all. YES.
EVERYTHING IS YES: ANNIE'S PARENT's BEING IDOITS, TROY ALMOST CRYING, A.J.E.W, everything.

YES. That would have been sufficient for a comment but then you had to go and gif me. *sigh* You're the best.

I'm glad you caught onto the Troy part, I genuinely had a lot of fun writing that part because I could properly visualize it in my head him saying that and flailing like when Annie chloroformed that janitor. He's my favourite.

And yeah, A.J.E.W. I had picked the name then noticed the initials. The joke just seemed to run from there. Felt fitting though.

*hugs* thanks again for reading.

So I've just read the last three chapters at once, and I'm kind of glad I did, so I didn't have to panic over what happened in the last one.

Yeesh. Beautifully written 'yeesh', though. After your comments about something bad around the corner, I was expecting it to be along the lines of misunderstandings or Jeff doing something stupid and throwing out all the progress that had been made. I wasn't expecting a traumatic premature birth at all (though I guess no one ever is).

So definitely kudos for doing the unexpected, and for laying it with all the emotional depth and pain, followed by just enough hope to be sustaining.

While I do wish the show would address issues like parents, I kinda like that they're so thinly sketched out that it gives people freedom to interpret them in any number of ways. Your depiction of Annie's parents feels very right, and from the little we know of her mother, I can definitely see blame and accusations being thrown about quite liberally if a situation like this arose.

Anyway, more soon, please.

Yeesh indeed. And thankyou for the compliment about the 'unexpected' nature of the events.

And thank you for your nice words about my interpretation of Annie's parents. It's difficult because I too wish we could address that for all of them. I mean we've only really dealt with and met Pierce and Abed's parent(s). It's time we saw who these people were that were so awful to Annie.

So to sum up, once again, thank you :)

I can't tell you how happy I am that I've (sort of) converted you. Like I said before I'm not an overly sappy person and I'm not in anyway family inclined myself (I told my fiancé that I'm not having his kids until he can go through labour pains too). So it's a surprise that I'm dealing with something like this.

And I totally forgot about Joshua the racist! I doubt even at that point Jeff would remember that because he would be just so focused on Annie being ok that he would probably have agreed to her wanting to call the baby Sunshine and Rainbows for all he cared about it. But I agree, the 'E' could be dropped easily - though depending what happens, Annie could argue that the 'W' could be quite as easily dropped :(

So thank you once again for taking time to read and comment, it really means a lot.

Hooray, Annie's awake and the baby is (kind of) okay! Love the detail you gave here - I was a premie too and had liver and lung issues as well, but I turned out fine on both. And the initials thing is hilarious. I'm so glad they both made it through! :)

Thank you so much. I'm glad they're ok too, I was so toiling with a dramatic scene where Annie wakes up, Jeff's elated then the baby's condition deteriorates and I just couldn't write it. I was getting too emotional as it was.

So yeah, they're ok and on the mend. It's the 'what happens next' that I set up in this chapter that will be my focus over the next two chapters. We'll see Jeff and Annie have the conversation about their living situation and more importantly their relationship. God I hope you all don't hate me once I'm done ;-)

Thanks again for commenting.x
