Miss Timmy was eating well this morning. I thought she was doing better. This evening, she was worse than she was the other night. Her anus was badly swollen and extremely painful, and as she bent over to lick herself, she urinated all over the carpet

I'm sorry to hear this. I believe you did the right thing. It sounded as if she did not have quality of life and was not comfortable.

Hugs. The vet had no right to give you that look. He didn't know you, or have her medical records, or know how much you've already done for her and would do for her if it were possible. You did the right thing. I wish you'd been able to have the right person there to help you.

You know, I felt like I was being interrogated. "How old is she?" I didn't know. She was a stray. I couldn't even call my mother (the one who first took the cat in) to ask how old she was. "When's the last time you took her to the vet?" also happened several times. These cats get better medical care than I do.
