AHAHA. AWESOME.

And I don't even like slave!fic, it's usually a huge squick for me. But OMG this is hilarious and great. Very Douglas Adams, but with the prospect of more pr0n in the offing.

And the Junior Ganymede shoutout is FTW. I can't imagine the Doctor would meet with the Club's approval, no, but it would be very entertaining to see him try.

THAT IS THE CHALLENGE PART OF CLICHE!CHALLENGE: I WILL /MAKE/ YOU LIKE IT!!

God, a part of me is really glad Douglas Adams never woke up one fine spring morning and thought 'what shall I do today? I know! Write Five/Master slavefic!porn!' What would that world even /be/.

Five <3's Wodehouse and Agatha Christie. Personal cannon fires true.

Glad you liked, thanks for reading!

THESE ARE STRANGE AND NEW FEELINGS YOU ARE CONJURING UP IN ME (w/r/t crack!slave!fic). YOU MUST ALLOW ME A LITTLE HESITATION AND PERHAPS CHAGRIN.

God, a part of me is really glad Douglas Adams never woke up one fine spring morning and thought 'what shall I do today? I know! Write Five/Master slavefic!porn!' What would that world even /be/.

Well, I meant, like, tonally, what with the Thane's ancestors' silent "t"s and his exciting rings. But now I sort of want to send an expedition to the alternate universe where Douglas Adams did write reprehensible fic tropes, just to see if we can bring back the results.

I'M SORRY, PAMELA, BUT THERE IS NO ROOM FOR MODESTY HERE.

No, I gotcha--and if only there as an AU equivalent of the wayback machine. Fuck time travel: that.

“What’s this then, ‘Good work, sleep well, I'll most likely kill you in the morning’?” *giggle* Got it in one, Doctor! Very good for only having known him for 5 minutes.
This is great - can't wait for the next part.

The Master would like to think he's a more complicated man than he is? And thanks. :)

I've been steadily working through your Doctor/Master fic- which is all good, by the way, and I was really happy to see you'd wrote something else.
I normally avoid slave fic like the plague, but this didn't squick me out at all- good job! I mean, if your aim was to take a normally kind of creepy cliche and make it fun and interesting and utterly harmless to even he most thin-skinned of dubcon haters. I usually can't even read stories set on the Valiant.
Hope the next parts are coming out soon!

Oh, thanks! That's v. nice to hear!

And what's the fun of a cliche challenge if you don't get to subvert and reinvent the issue-laden cliches even as you sort of celebrate them for being the terrible/batshit/really fun/hot stuff of our shared fandom heritage? In a way I grew up with fic and I have a similar fondness for silly, familiar old tropes as I do for childhood stuffed animals--I actually enjoy writing that's balls-to-the-wall invested in the cliches as well as writing that deconstructs them?

Yeah, not my fav. genre either. And they should be!

Did...did you just turn a Wodehouse reference into a double entendre? Or am I reading too much into it? Either way, win.

This provokes the best fic response I know of, namely thinking "IhavetoreadtherestofthisrightnowIdon'tcarethatitdiesn'texistyeteeaahh!"

Because who doesn't want to read an AU fic about "Five! Now with more naivete!"?

Oh, now I maintain The Junior Ganymede Club did this to itself.

eh, like 12,000 more of it does? But not quite done yes, no, I think it needs at least another 8,000. Thus my estimation of the parts as all being about this length?

But thanks so much! And not only a slightly less 'ready to deal with Master bullshit'!Five, you also get 'no, I have never before had my heart clawed out and become a total crazyperson, no, why do you ask? ...is that about to happen?'!Master. Two for the price of one?

*pphhhp* to your logic. Don't you know that if something isn't on the internet it doesn't fuggin' exist? And yes, I am intrigued at the possibility of Competent!Master who hasn't yet had his despot skills destroyed by Doctor induced ADD.

Oh, fair enough--it's true that most things that exist are at LEAST somewhere on the Wayback Machine.

<3 your description!
