Sadly enough, besides my boyfriend, I have only met two other people who have heard of NOTHINGFACE. And both of them I met when I was on vacation in Georgia and Canada.
Yeah I get that a lot. And it makes me laugh when I see so many people bitching about metal or its bands selling out or getting too mainstream. Yeah what, now 1 out of every 2998 instead of 3001 have heard of any of the bands I like? =P
The people I know of that know nothingface were introduced to them by me. Hell my brother even likes listening to some of them, even though he doesn't like some of the pervasive swearing and lyrics. Shame though, will always be one of my favorite bands.

I first saw/heard of Nothingface in May 2001 when they toured with Spineshank, Mudvayne, and Disturbed. They were promoting Violence...lol That could be taken two ways. Anyways, I've been a huge fan since then. Then, I was lucky enough to meet a guy (my future husband) who had already heard of Nothingface. The only album he was interested in, though, was Skeletons. Needless to say, I had to force-feed him some Violence. We've since then acquired the Pacifier and Everyday Atrocity albums. Kick ass. Luckily I got to meet them all when I saw them again in 2003 before they split. =-( They rock the fuckin house in concert. His name ain't SICKles for nothing. ;-) He bummed a cig off of my friend...he about shit...hehe. Matt was sick and bitching that the show sucked that night(because he was hoarse), while everyone was telling him they stomped ass. Everyone is talking about not knowing anyone who's heard of them. The first time I heard of nothingface was 6 years ago in a rock magazine add. then 5 years later I start working at a music store and get mobbed by this insane dude covered in tattoos telling me to listen to his band Kingdom of Snakes.. hahaha, it was Matt... I've been an avid fan ever since the mobbing, and I'm so happy i am :)
