lol heres my opinion. there is a real fine line between love and lust but then again...there isnt...it always contridicts itself all the time. but yea w/ the statistics on marriage and divorce, most marriages/relationships always do better if the people know alot about each other and get real close. but yea thats just my opinion and i guess people have a right to agree and disagree w/ it. haha and if this doesnt make ne since its because im still shaken up cause i had a cop ride my ass all the way home....it scared the crap outta me haha. neways.....yea lol j/k :P ttyl bye ::hugs::

i believe there's true love that only happens to maybe 1 or 2% of the population. where you're best friends and you've got a comfort level built up to where you can be intimate and still have things be not awkward, it just makes one love the other person even more. that's the love i hope to experience when i get married. so that when i get old and wrinkled, as you say, we'll still have companionship and still be able to sit on the porch on rocking chairs and have nice conversations, even if neither of us are lookers anymore. now THAT is true love. it makes me so happy to see an old couple in public that are holding hands and talking to each other and genuinely enjoying each other's company. they haven't let the stresses of life come between them and the quality of their relationship, and it really gives me hope ( ... )

I think that true love develops over time as we learn to trust another person with our life/emotions/soul, but I think it is totally unrealistic to think that any ONE person can fulfill your needs for love and affection. Which is why there are so many types of love and friendship is so necessary. Perhaps the stresses of life - lived out with your mate - is one of the many things that make love true. I also think that each person has to be complete on their own before a serious relationship. There has to be enough security in who you are as a person and what you can bring to another person's life ( ... )

Love is far too simple of a word for the feeling. That's why the English language, in part, sucks. The Greeks have FOUR different words for love ( ... )

"Love is a gentle rain and the fierceness of a tempest, eternally joined with the fires of the heart."

I really like that. That's pretty much right. Um...yes, i have yet to experience it as well. Thanks for your opinion/sharing of knowledge ;)

But then you're allowed the gift of choice, and that's what separates us from the rest of life on earth. That would also combat some of your theories on the spiritual world around us.
