Happy New Year, everyone. For those of you who are glad to be rid of the old year, you are in luck. For those of you who also dread the coming of the New Year, I don't know what to say. :-) But, a New Year more or less seems like a new start. People make 'New Year's Resolutions'. LOL, thanks, no problem. I only disappeared for two years and then expect instant results? I knew we'd catch up sooner or later. I'm anxious to read your LJ to see what you've been up to and what's going on with you. :-)

I make easy New Year's Resolutions like 'no leaping over skyscrapers', 'drink some water', and 'buy a can of pop'.

That is effing outrageous! I used to be a fervent movie-goer but I don't go very much anymore as it's too much of a physical hassle. If they're assigning seats here, locally, I'll never go again. What a bunch of crap. Is this more "security"? As in surveillance? More time-and-energy-wasting to no end, more unnecessary and offensive regimentation of people. I can't stand it. If people don't boycott the theatres en masse until they discontinuing assigned seating, they deserve what they get.

assigned seats are normal to us when it come to a theatre. But not when you go to a movie. I don't think i would like that a lot.
