I would like to wish all my friends a Merry Christmas. I hope all of you are having a great day, whether you celebrate or not.

While I enjoy Christmas to some extent - mainly because it tends to serve as a moratorium on hatred, anger and strife (except for the strife of surviving the holidays), I try not to "over do" it.

Well, it's come to this. The most exciting thing I did today was change two light-bulbs in my kitchen. Now, that may not sound like such a big deal to a normal person living in a normal place, but, for me, who is not normal and does not live in a normal place, it is a big deal. ( Excitement Inside )

It's cold here, at least by San Francisco standards. It's 52 degrees F. Okay, so I'm spoiled! I took a photo from my balcony showing where the ocean is from where I live.
