Glad to hear that you arrived safely! Was thinking about you the other day and tried to check LJ to see if there was a post yet, so it's a big relief to see this one. :)

Good luck with finding the new Slayer. I'm sure you'll run into her soon. Just watch out for any railings in the area. Wouldn't want you to hurt yourself. We all know what happened the first time you met a Slayer. ;)

Oh, and HAPPY EASTER!! Don't know if you really celebrate it or anything, but any quasi holiday that gets me out of work early deserves a Happy! :)

Hi! Just wanted to let you know that I talked to Xander day-before-yesterday and read your comment to him. You should have heard him laugh about what you said about the railing! That was a really cute piece of advice, by the way. Did he tell you about what happened when he first saw Buffy? And, honestly, I don't know what the last time was that he was on a skateboard... Gosh, it's been a while.

This is super-huge for him, this trip, and I know he really appreciates all good thoughts and messages. I'm trying to convince Giles to get the council to send him a laptop, but until then, I promise to get him every message, and I'm checking his e-mail for him too. :)

Fast food, in Egypt? Perish the thought, m'boy! Be sure to hit Anwar's, a little restaurant on the South side. They do things with fava beans that you'll tell your grandkids about.

Well, I talked to him the other day and passed along your message about the fava beans, but he said that fava beans just made him think of Hannibal Lector.
