At work today a disturbed person got into the building, assualted a CYFs staff member and then threw himself through a piece of plate glass. We had a forced evacuation and many police in attendance and an ambulance. And a water blasting crew to get the blood of the drive. Thanks to Gavin's work I will be in Auckland this week (bonus I can work at our Ellerslie Contact Centre and help the awesome MSD staff who have worked 12 hour days dealing with Work and Income clients plus an extra 20,000 plus earthquake calls on the Government Helpline). For much of winter weekend I was feeling kind of odd. Had a number of feverish bouts. Just went to the Dr who thinks I have a staph skin infection.

Everyone should have one piece of clothing so hideous that when they are forced to wear they take stock of their failure to launder and act. Today I wore that skirt. Fawn houndstooth how I loathe thee. Washing machine is on now
