I don't understand how I can get away with buying a handle of vodka, but I can't get into this rinky dink dance bar. I don't see what the big deal is. I'm 18 years old, I'm old enough to enlist, but I can't take in alcohol, or get into any places associated with it. It just sounds ridiculous to me. Things are changing here. I am 90% sure I will be competing at the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand in August. I'm so excited.

If I go faster than 57.07 seconds in the 100 meter backstroke between now and July of 2008, I will be an Olympian in Beijing. HOLY SHIT.

I just want a fuckin' break. I want to go home. I don't want anymore fuckin' school. I don't understand how I know Calculus yet I still do terrible on exams. I'm sick of training and being tired all the fuckin' time and not swimming well. Why the hell does it feel like the world is coming down on me?
