It has been a very strange week. Some stuff went down in my school cohort that we are recovering from, a friends divorce from her abusive husband (who also happens to be an attorney) came to a head this week, another friend had a scare with her daughter, a friends dad died suddenly, and my foot hates me. I think I might have broke my foot. Its weird because the pain slowly has been getting worse and there was no "moment" where I did something specific to it to cause a break. Micah is turning out just like me.... no respect for appendages. He slammed the car door on his (and I quote) best pointer finger. I had to run back and open the door for him to get it out. Almost sliced the pad of his finger clean off... but interestingly enough they didn't think it needed any stitches. Its just bandaged up really good.
