I think yesterday was the best Easter celebrating I have done since I was a kid. Biggest highlight... playing on the lawn with my husband, kids and siblings with a big bouncy ball trying to Meg each other (soccer game type thing)! The conference has to be long enough that I spend the night 2 nights in order to get the required time in for the credits. Last night we overheard Micah (6 yrs old now) say this while playing in the fort with his dinosaurs. "First I will take over the town then half the world, then the whole world!"

Brilliant. Perhaps Pinky and the Brain would have succeeded if they had done like Micah and broken up world domination into 3 phases.

I had the best "church service" the other day. The best I have ever experienced actually. I went out to the farm where we get the CSA in the summer and helped them plant the new strawberry field. So we chose to tithe 10% of our income for lent this year. It is harder for Shaun than it is for me. I have discovered I really enjoy giving money away. But Shaun wants to provide a warm home that won't float away when it rains... So, to make things fair I gave up Chocolate for lent.
