I finally got myself a youtube account, to upload my videos. I've been having troubles uploading my koala videos tho & was considering going back to vimeo, but i gave Sam a quick email & she resolved my problem! So I've been playing in windows media player X-D

When I got the ratties out this evening, I noticed they were getting a bit smelly - one of their fave things to do is to pee in their bedding. It was a really hot day today - I was only out in the sun for a couple of minutes, & i'm sure i got burnt - so I decided to let them swim in the bath a bit. err, they didn't like it much, so I didn't keep ( Read more... ) -

On Saturday I packed up the remaining (minus one) rat babies & we drove them to the pet shop, where the lady who would be taking them would pick them up sometime :\ My mum got upset when we handed them over; she's been playing with them everyday & was giving them nicknames, so she became very attached. i'm not a very good livejournaler
A lot of you may or may not have heard about Mick, the rare white koala (you can see a report on him here). We were all asked not to talk about him until his release, but even then it hadnt been decided whether there should be too much publicity about him, for the sake of his safety. A hint of joey omg!
I made it into the Koala Hospital yesterday, for my first shift since my trip abroad. It was nice to be back & to be working with the koala's again. & it was nice to feel needed/wanted; they are down on vollies on sundays again. I was given four yards to do.

quick update from home
Yesterday, or was it the day before that? It was Friday morning in the UK anyway, I started my trip back to Australia. It was so, so, so hard and painful to walk away - I dont think I've cried so much in my life! My stomach and heart hurt so much. I think I feel more home sick for England, than I did for Australia!
