Aww welcome! I'll put up a follow-up post, but found a nice home for the ferret and I think she should stay there; helped the new owner give her a bath and she was COVERED in fleas, and WAY too skinny. So that made me think her previous owners weren't that into her...

But she's all safe and happy!

I might... I dropped her off @ a friends who wants to keep her, and after giving her an hour bath to get all the fleas off, I saw how SKINNY she is, and it's definitely not just from the week or so she's been out...
But I know, when you love and take care of your animals it would nearly kill you to lose them!
