さくぶんのだいは知らない。てつだって、おねがい。My goal was to get work done during this break. The result...NOTHING. I need a topic for my sakubun (japanese composition) that i can bs for 1200 characters. She doesn't want make up stories, straight facts and such.

Well, what chapter (in which book)are you up to? It's easiest using vocabulary you know well, and then you can make a topic from there. if i knew that i could make more suggestions. that said, started from "An Invitation to Contemporary Japanese" Chapter 5, your family? Chapter 6, a bad experience in a restaurant? Chapter 7, our trip to the mall this summer (right, summer?)? "Continuing with Contemporary Japanese" Chapter 1, a trip you enjoyed? Chapter 2, Describing your house, Chapter 3, some sort of vehicular incident? Chapter 4, your state of health? I'll stop here for now. Hope this helps.

Hm, "At Home". Let's see. You could compare your house to your dorm and what you do at either places, chores and what not. Not the most exciting thing, but there you go. Or maybe talking about a wedding where the couple gets a lot of household items and advice or whatever and then discuss their new life. I don't know. Are there any other guidelines besides the character limit and nonfiction?

Wow... tommy...you're alive. Thank you for your comment. This isn't my spring break. It's my "winter break" there will be other chances. I am not that great at Soul Calibur III. I'm just glad to know you care to remember me.
