Nightfall transforms the cityscape into an alternate dimension.The ugliest decaying sections of the city become mysterious,beautiful mirages.The blinking crimson,pink,yellow and blue lights of a chinese restaurant sign and windows turn a dank,desolate alleyway into a hidden paradise,a rainbow of color as the neon reflects on puddles and dumpsters

thank you.i cringed when i saw i had a comment.im very insecure about my writing.this was from 3-4 years ago when i very strung out(obviously since i was romantizing walking through ghetto looking for heroin) and putting these "excerpts" in this journal is making want to start writing again...

do you write or are you a reader?I love reading,i have a closet FULL of books from the used bookstores.

is your...um..equipment functioning at 100% again?i hope so for your sake AND hilary's.that had to be very scary.honestly,i would have panicked and started crying,i probably would have ran to the emergency room and became the staff's joke for a year.knowing my luck there would be a dr or nurse who had an lj and would post it in several communities.

Everything is working fine again, I'm glad to say. :)

I write a little, very little, I'm much more of a reader. Currently I'm reading 6th book in the Dark Towers series. When I get bored with that, I read The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene, I'll look for the book you mentioned next time I'm at the book store.

that was a dumb question.i just read your post where you wrote about the gunslinger series.i missed it yesterday when i was reading my friends page.
have you read "Mall" by eric bogosian?that was an excellent book!i wanted to reread it when i finished it.
