it really does make me wonder - i hope this is all a by-product of a litigous crazy world and not an indictaion of the intelligence of the man/woman in the street.

re your bike helmut - i read a story of a bank robber who walked into a bank wearing his crash helmut for disguise - unfortunately he forgot to take off the sticker across the front of it bearing his name!

Most of this is probably due to the "litigious society" we unfortunately inhabit. Lawyers certainly have a use in society, as do plumbers and sociologists and 7-11 clerks. But our society seems to have surrendered The Power Rings to the lawyers.
