Colin, everything is going to be fine. Everyone is scared of consequences at one time or another, there's nothing wrong with that, it's just being cautious and responsible. Love, on the other hand, is another story. Don't ever be scared of it. If something is meant to be, it'll be, but when the time is right. You've got your entire life ahead of you to date, who says that you have to date right now? Just wait and be patient, you'll find someone when you're not looking.
