So this evening I sampled a durian flavored candy. They were a bit old, so it was somewhat disappointing. The usual overwhelming bouquet of rotting meat was replaced with a delicate flavor of freshly-pumped-out septic tank. Funny, I keep a bottle of tequila around for the same purpose.

Though I would NEVER go anywhere near anything involving durian. :-P

You're a brave man. Re cleaning things out- bailey's, then water, then anise flavor. The milk-like stuff in bailey's will help with the oils.

No oils involved that I could tell. First, the taffy was stuck in my teeth. That sucked. The real problem, though? Belches. An hour after drinking the anisette I could still taste the anise in my mouth... but the durian was winning the battle in my stomach.

I think I walked the fine line between brave and stupid this evening. I think I tripped and fell... and not to the brave side. Bloody sobriety test.

Huh. I've never heard of Durian. Given our shockingly different tastes in liquors, somehow I think I'd like it. Now I need to try it!

I will happily give away these durian candies as I bought them on a whim for Chris because I had purchased them before and they made me cry. I bought them just to giggle as Chris tried them. But then I remembered him eating them is bad for me because of breath issues.

So... free durian candy!
