I'm really confused. Why are keyboards so weird? Who in their right mind puts T next to Y, and C next to V? But THEN decides to put FGH together and JKL together....I just don't get it. ASDFGHJKL??? QWERTYUIOP?!?!?? There must be a reason for this, i tell you.

There -is- a reason. Keyboards originated from Typewriters and they couldn't place everything in alphabetical order or else the cordthingys would get tangled up.

Get it? Or am I making NO sense? THERE IS A REASON!

it was originally set up so that the keys wouldn't lock up with one another when they used to use typewriters. there are other keyboard layouts that people can use that would increase productivity and aid in typing in a way that makes sense, like the dvorak keyboard and stuff, and your omputer has options that let you set that up.

but it's a bitch to change the way a world thinks after everyone's gotten so used to it already.
