Note: of course you actually want to go away-- everyone else is so whatever you'd be leaving behind would be, in turn, leaving you behind if you didn't go away. Does that make sense? Basically, you'd be really lonely when everyone left for school and you didn't. Thus why senior year for someone whose friends were all seniors the year before sucks.
