Well, I got my results for my January exams today. Oh yay. I didn't do very well in History, I got a C, and although I'm disappointed, I'm not surprised because I spent too much time on the first question which was worth hardly any marks. I did terrible for Chemistry too, another C, and that's the grade which really hurts because I wanted to do ( Read more... )

Aww that's too bad about the exams, but that's good that you got an A in math!

I know that a C is good, it's just that it's not good for me because I know I can do better. Though it's true, I am planning to drop History after the exams.
I'm not going to make them pay! That's so harsh ^^

Oh, you know I mean Mr Marsden...I know, it's selfish, I was the only person who liked him and it'd annoy everybody, but I just seemed to learn better with him. I guess it's good that he's left now though, some of the things Miss Dyer says, I don't think many of the teachers liked him either.

We don't have maths coursework, it's the only subject which doesn't have any at A level ^^ The year 11s are doing theirs now, their coursework is much easier than ours was, with that stupid spiral. Staying back after school just about every day was so depressing. But I haven't forgotten the free sandwiches we got on Wednesdays ^^ They were amazing!

I'm amazed by Carla too, she did really well, she was really nervous before the exam as well.

Thanks, though they still haven't called me back -.-' A whole day is more than a few minutes ^^

I've never done too well on chemistry exams myself. Chemistry just bores the hell out of me. But its good that you're retaking it though. And congrats on getting an A on the math exam.

Chemistry isn't too bad when we get to play with chemicals (especially when they say corrosive on them ^^) but I know what you mean about it being boring, there's so much theory to learn it's hard to take it all in, though I'm actually interested so it's not so bad for me, it must have been terrible for you, having to remember it all.
Thank you ^^
